The attitude that I carry and demonstrate towards tasks or to others is a conscious choice and decision that I make. While it may have been shaped by my environment while I was growing up, it is still in my control and under my domain. One's attitude is not like a wld animal aimlessly left to roam the savannah or open plain. Instead, our attitude is shaped by our consciousness and the mindfulness that we practice each day. Left unchecked, and undeveloped, an attitude will often decay over time and seek grater and greater entropy (as the second law of thermodynamics states). To develop a great attitude takes mental conditioning and training like developing any skill or muscle in the body. The choice, however, is ours. We chose to have a great attitude and to do the work to develop one, or we chose to abdicate our involvement and let it run wild and untamed.
Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. Helen Keller
Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think. Benjamin Disraeli
Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character. Albert Einstein
