There is nearly nothing that a person cannot accomplish when the full force of their commitment and hard-work is brought to bear on the challenge or opportunity being faced.  While there are, in fact, physical, medical, or genetic limitations that we all have that are a reality, it is hard-work that allows us to capitalize on our inborn talents and and to overcome the limitations that we currently have.  Too often we want to believe that others have achieved their success because of the gifts they were born with or the breaks that they had a long the way.  We are too eager to dismiss the dedication and hard-work that these people invested to accomplish the success they have obtained.  The good news is that with our own hard-work and commitment, we can also achieve the success that we desire.

Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason so few engage in it. Henry Ford

A dream does not become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work. Colin Powell

I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it. Thomas Jefferson
