Examine closely the events and actions of the last week and ask yourself if you became a better leader, if you are honing your leadership craft?  Leadership is much too important to be left to chance or the whims and impulses of your personal motivation or that of others.  Your leadership development must be deliberate, intentional and conscious.  The best part is that it is never too late to become purposeful on your leadership development and it can all start with reading for 15 minutes a day, listening to a leadership podcast, or watching a video like a TED talk.  There are many ways to enhance your leadership and hone your craft, but it does take you caring enough to do so.  Look closely at your schedule from last week and make some changes this week to develop your skills and be the leader your team deserves.

Great leaders encourage leadership development by openly developing themselves.  Marshall Goldsmith

The most pwerful leadership tool you have is your own personal example.  John Wooden

The single biggest way to impact an organization is to focus on leadership development.  John C. Maxwell
