Getting access to and being provided with good quality coaching is necessary for the pursuit of excellence and personal mastery.  Coaching provides objective observation and insight about your performance that you can then use to improve.  This coaching is necessary regardless of the skill, profession or pursuit.  If you truly want to get better, better coaching is the the way this can occur.  It will accelerate your learning, identify your mistakes and errors quicker and supercharge the effectiveness of your deliberate practice.  In fact, there may be a no more efficient pathway to personal mastery than through the effective utilization of a coach.
