You cannot achieve excellence in the big things in your life if you do not pursue excellence in the little things.  The pursuit of excellence is a life philosophy not an achievement.  It is a process not an outcome.  The pursuit of excellence is a statement about your character, moral fiber, and ability to persevere and sacrifice more than anything else.  And while those who pursue excellence know that perfection can never be attained, and in their minds nor can excellence, they pursue it anyway.  For to them the pursuit speaks to their soul in a way nothing else does and to walk away is like asking them to stop breathing... they just can't.  It is their drive to get better and their commitment to the process of improvement that stands out, but is often not seen as excellence is often a solitary practice.  But one that inspires nevertheless.
