While you can take pride in your accomplishments and your successes, resting on your laurels for too long will only make those triumphs a memory.  The payment for excellence, for accomplishment must be made everyday.  It is in the time spent in the gym, on the road, or in the study and preparation to be even better.  Time off and stepping away for a while to recharge and refocus is fine, but soon your attention must be brought back to the matter at hand.  Commitment and preparation must occur on a daily basis to achieve the results you desire.
