Feedback comes in many forms; some we are conscious of and others are less noticeable.  But all are important for us to observe and action.  The less obvious items could be something physical in our bodies; it could be a stiffness in a muscle or a nagging injury that we routinely "ignore and override" or it could be a tiredness that doesn't seem to go away.  We could become more short with others or lose concentration when trying to focus on a task.  And while we all have likely experienced these, the chronic or routine occurrence of these things may be something we need to pay more attention to.  These signs and symptoms are examples of feedback that we should observe as they may be providing valuable insight about ourselves and our lives.  They are every bit as important as the grade on that last paper or the performance review you just had.

It’s also helpful to realize that this very body that we have, that’s sitting right here right now…with its aches and its pleasures…is exactly what we need to be fully human, fully awake, fully alive.  Pema Chodron

An emotion is your body's reaction to your mind.  Eckhart Tolle

The body never lies.  Anonymous
