Integrity isn't a variable that can be bent and shaped based upon your needs and desires at the moment. But unfortunately, too many people think that it is. And further, integrity must also be defined by leaders so that there is a common understanding of what it is for the team and the organization and the line that mustn't be crossed. Clarity is critical and reinforcement unrelenting for the pillar of integrity cannot simply be a "one and done" event it must be a lived value. A value that is present in every action, every decision, and every discussion. Integrity must be the cornerstone of leadership, formal or informal, and must be actively sought to ensure it's lived experience.
When you are able to maintain your own highest standards of integrity – regardless of what others may do – you are destined for greatness. Napoleon Hill
Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity. W. Clement Stone
Make living your life with absolute integrity and kindness your first priority. Richard Carlson
