As cliché as it sounds acceptance is about understanding that as much as we might what to control everything within our lives there are many things that we cannot. And unfortunately for many, the things that we can control are not the things they wish they could control. But the things we can include our attitude, behaviours, mindset, discipline, perseverance, commitment, and dedication. We can also control our ability to seek understanding and practice forgiveness, compassion and empathy. We can control how hard we work and the service we provide to others. We can decide to be a good person and to be mindful. And we can practice acceptance for all the things we wish we could control but cannot.
