This age of instant communication, social media and the personal growth and development industry has supported that everyone has a voice. More than ever we are being taught (and supported) that our opinions matter and that finding our voice and speaking our truth is not only a personal catharsis, but important for society to grow and work for everyone. However, none of this is without consequence nor without personal accountability for what you say, how you say it and the offense you may cause to others. While it may be your truth it may not be without repercussions. That is not to say that it shouldn't be said, but with personal freedom comes personal accountability. And for change to occur compromise is required, for a step closer to a goal is better than no step at all.
You are accountable for your actions, your decisions, your life; no one else is, but you. Catherine Pulsifier
You must take personal accountability. You cannot change the corcumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of. Jim Rohn
It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves. William Shakespeare
